ABOUT
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Amy Isenhour is now making her debut in the Nashville music scene, with her unique sound which she describes as ‘Country- Western with Pop / R&B influence.’
With a passion for music that was discovered at just four years old, Isenhour’s education years were spent singing the school chorus and writing songs in her free time.
Yet, her pivotal moment came when she saw The Dixie Chicks (now The Chicks) perform live, and later got to meet lead singer Natalie Maines backstage. Of the memory, Isenhour recalls, “as a young child, it really made me idolize them more due to their kind nature. After seeing the show, it instilled in me exactly what I wanted to do with my life.”
Dedicated to her goal, Isenhour focused her efforts on developing her music. She attended college in Missoula, Montana for Business Administration and minor in Entertainment Management, and has continued to take multiple music, business, and vocal classes to hone her skills.
Years of preparation finally culminated in Isenhour’s move to Nashville in 2017, with hopes of being able to write, sing, and perform with ‘the very best in Country Music.’ Since relocating, Isenhour has become a Tin Pan South regular attendee, a Lifetime member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, as well as a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers - ASCAP. Now, with her recent recording sessions at Sound Stage Studio, and the help of producer Buddy Hyatt and Grammy winning vocal producer Kim Wood Sandusky, Isenhour has handcrafted her debut single, “Girls Like That,” which she is excited to launch as her introduction to the Nashville country music scene. Follow up single "I Ain't Gonna Take It Anymore" was released 12th July 2024.
